A group of friends got together on a porch in Mertztown 9 years ago to try to decide how to avoid all the "panicky" Friday afternoon calls to each other to decide "What are we gonna do tonight?" Fred had just gotten a computer and volunteered to "collect" emails from the others about suggestions, and put them in one mail, and send a copy to everyone! We went out to events and made our own! We made new friends, got phone numbers and , of course, email addresses, and that was the beginning! Now we are emailing 1,230!
